We just met up with Camp Mother and Camp Leader and they are super-excited about tonights show. They stopped traffic as we took them to the Lake for a photo and as you can see today is just a stunning day to be Queenstown.

The show is at the Rydges Lakeland Hotel Ballroom, doors open at 7.30 for the 8pm show. MJ for the night is popular Queenstown comedian Emma Lange.

Gay Ski Week NZ kicks off today – but on a more serious note – people flying into the country please check flights as due to the earthquake in Christchurch their Airport is closed till at least 10am, so please check all flights into NZ. Queenstown is fine and we’re  ready for ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As the Cowboy Dinner has sold out, a second dining option has been added. Fishbone Bar & Grill will be hosting any hungry cowboys or cowgirls who may have missed out on the main event. Gay owned and operated, Fishbone Bar & Grill has been proudly supporting Gay Ski Week for the past five years and has the reputation of the best seafood in Queenstown.

On the night they will be offering a two course set menu for $49 of great New Zealand seafood with a complimentary glass of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc on arrival, or you may choose to order from their extensive menu.
