The Host hotel is the epicentre of all the action and where the bulk of the guests will be staying. The base hotel plays host to the Welcome Party, the daily Happy Hour/After Ski drinks and the Ski Week Help Desk where you can get information and book a load of other activities around Queenstown.

Will events sell out?
Some events will reach capacity so we encourage everyone to book early – or risk disappointment. We cannot squeeze any extra people in once an event is full! The good news is, you can book all your tickets online right here.

How do I buy tickets?
You can order tickets at through this very website. In fact, you can order all your passes, ski hire, lift tickets and extras all through our online booking system.

Where do I pick up my tickets?
All tickets and passes etc booked online will be available for collection upon arrival in Queenstown on 4 September 2010. The ski week help desk will be set up especially for this during the Welcome Party, and from then onwards they will be available at the base Hotel Reception. Please bring photo ID and the card you used to book.

Last year we welcomed about 600+ guests from time to time over the week. Numbers at the Gay Ski Week are growing exponentially and the sky is the limit!

I have purchased tickets and I cannot come to the event can I get a refund?
Sorry no refunds or exchanges as stated on the original ticket order form. (Except in special circumstances which we will consider on a case by case basis).

There will be ticket sales in Queenstown, but we cannot guarantee availability. We recommend that you book your tickets online before you arrive in Queenstown to avoid missing out.

Where do I rent equipment from?
There are loads of outlets for ski and board rental in Queenstown. Gay Ski Week NZ have negotiated a fantastic deal with Outside Sports – Queenstown’s biggest ski and board hire shop. You can organise it all online – follow the link to the booking form here.
